Melakukan Pendaftaran (submission)
Bagaimana melakukan pendaftaran ? Gampang, Anda tinggal mengisi form pendaftaran URL yang disediakan masing-masing search engine. Misalnya untuk Google, form pendaftarannya ada di http://www.google.com/addurl.html. Setelah itu tunggu beberapa minggu dan lakukan pengecekan apakah website Anda sudah terlisting atau tidak. Caranya, masuk ke situs search engine yang bersangkutan kemudian ketikkan domain Anda sebagai kata kunci, misalnya ilmukomputer.com. Jika URL Anda muncul pada hasil pencarian (search result), berarti website Anda sudah terdaftar. Bagaimana jika tidak muncul ? Ada dua kemungkinan penyebab. Pertama, karena crawler search engine memang belum sempat berkunjung dan membaca isi (content) dari web Anda. Kedua, crawler sudah berkunjung namun tidak dapat membaca content karena sesuatu hal, misalnya pada saat web server Anda down atau kelebihan traffic. Pada kasus kedua, search engine biasanya akan berusaha membaca ulang URL tersebut dalam jangka waktu tertentu, namun cara terbaik adalah melakukan pendaftaran ulang apabila website Anda sudah benar-benar siap.
Sekarang kita asumsikan pendaftaran website Anda sudah berhasil, apakah itu sudah cukup ? Tentu saja tidak, Anda perlu melakukan pengujian berikutnya. Coba ketikkan keyword atau frase umum yang berhubungan dengan isi website. Misalnya jika website Anda menawarkan produk furniture khas Indonesia, cobalah cari dengan kata kunci "furniture indonesia" misalnya. Jika website Anda muncul di halaman pertama atau kedua, itu sudah bagus. Namun jika website Anda muncul di halaman-halaman belakang, janganlah berharap traffic terlalu banyak. Sangat kecil kemungkinan visitor akan dapat menemukan URL Anda. Mau tidak mau, website Anda harus berjuang memperebutkan posisi 20 besar dari ratusan bahkan jutaan website pesaing.
Teknik Optimalisasi Search Engine Dalam bahasa Inggris disebut Search Engine Optimization (SEO), adalah cara yang harus ditempuh apabila website Anda tidak berhasil menduduki posisi 20 besar untuk keyword yang diharapkan. Ada dua faktor utama yang harus diperhatikan pada proses SEO, yaitu :
• Faktor Internal (berhubungan dengan penulisan content website dan HTML) • Faktor Eksternal (berhubungan dengan link popularity)
1. Faktor Internal
Dalam menentukan rangking, search engine sangat memperhatikan content website sebagai salah satu acuan untuk menentukan tingkat relevansi. Halaman web yang yang desainnya full image, hanya terdiri atas gambar dan flash serta tidak menyertakan teks biasa, sangat sulit dibaca oleh search engine. Walaupun Google saat ini sudah mulai menerapkan teknologi AI (Artificial Intelegence), tetap saja belum bisa membaca makna dari sebuah gambar. Maka dari itu content berupa teks murni wajib dipakai agar website Anda mudah dilisting.
Dalam menyusun content teks, usahakan agar kata kunci atau keyword yang Anda harapkan terpakai pada kalimat-kalimat dalam teks tersebut. Anggap saja keyword tersebut merupakan topik utama. Dan jika Anda punya sedikit pengetahuan tentang HTML, tempatkan keyword pada tag

<br />2. Faktor Eksternal
<br />Seperti yang penulis jelaskan sebelumnya, faktor internal lebih berkaitan dengan hal-hal yang ada dalam sebuah website. Faktor internal sangat mudah dimanipulasi, sehingga search engine tidak mungkin menggunakannya 100% sebagai acuan untuk menghasilkan hasil pencarian yang berkualitas. Manipulasi yang dimaksud adalah spamming, seperti penulisan content menggunakan keyword yang diulang-ulang secara berlebihan, penulisan teks yang warnanya sama dengan warna background sehingga pengunjung tidak dapat membacanya. Hal-hal semacam ini tujuannya tidak lain untuk mengecoh

<br />Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, search engine menggunakan faktor eksternal sebagai acuan relevansi antara content website dan keyword. Faktor yang
<br />dimaksud adalah link popularity, yaitu banyaknya link dari website lain yang mengarah ke website Anda. Kita ambil contoh situs IlmuKomputer.com. Karena isinya yang menarik dan bermanfaat, maka banyak pemilik website lain yang memasang link mengarah ke IlmuKomputer.com, kita anggap saja jumlahnya 100 link. Karena 100 link ini berasal dari luar domain IlmuKomputer.com, maka nilai link inilah yang diperhitungkan oleh search engine. Semakin banyak link dari luar, berarti nilai link popularity-nya semakin besar. Menurut anggapan search engine, semakin banyak sebuah website di-link, semakin baik pula content yang dimiliki.

<br />Link popularity sudah umum dipakai acuan oleh search engine. Salah satu pelopornya adalah Google yang saat ini menjangkau lebih dari 70% pengguna internet di seluruh dunia. Oleh Google, teknologi ini mereka sebut

Anda bisa melihat nilai PageRank sebuah website dengan menginstall Google Toolbar yang ada di : http://toolbar.google.com/ (saat ini hanya untuk browser Internet Explorer dan Firefox). PageRank ditunjukkan oleh bar berwarna hijau dengan nilai antara 0 - 10. Semakin besar nilai PageRank suatu situs, semakin baik pulaposisinya di Google.

<br />Namun perhitungan link popularity tidak hanya melihat kuantitas semata, melainkan kualitas link juga sangat diperhitungkan. Contohnya jika website Anda di-link oleh Yahoo, nilai link popularity-nya bisa lebih besar daripada di-link oleh 100 website pribadi. Dan sekali lagi, Google menganggap link dari sebuah website dengan nilai PageRank 8 jauh lebih baik dari 5 website yang hanya memiliki PageRank 1.

<br />Pertanyaannya sekarang, bagaimana cara mengumpulkan link untuk website Anda ? Secara alami link akan didapat jika website Anda memiliki sesuatu yang berguna bagi pengunjung. Jika kita hendak memasang link ke website lain, tentu kita ingin menunjukkan suatu informasi untuk pengunjung situs kita. Tidak mungkin memasang link hanya untuk iseng, atau tanpa tujuan. Contohnya, jika Anda memiliki sebuah toko online dengan produk kamera digital, hendaknya Anda tidak hanya menampilkan informasi mengenai harga dan kemampuan produk saja. Buatlah halaman khusus yang berisi tips & trik untuk merawat kamera misalnya. Tentu informasi seperti ini akan sangat berguna bagi pengunjung Anda.

<br />Cara kedua dengan melakukan barter link (link exchange) secara manual. Anda bisa menghubungi webmaster dari situs-situs yang memiliki informasi berkaitan dengan website Anda. Tawarkan kepada mereka kerjasama melalui barter link, dan terangkan apa keuntungan yang akan mereka dapat. Jika Anda bingung mencari partner, Anda bisa memanfaatkan Google untuk melacak link yang mengarah ke website pesaing. Caranya ketik link: diikuti dengan nama domain yang dicari. Contoh link:http://www.ilmukomputer.com/, maka Google akan menampilkan link-link dari website lain yang mengarah ke IlmuKomputer.com. Masih berkaitan dengan link, tidak semua jenis link bisa meningkatkan link popularity. Link yang diperhitungkan adalah link standar dengan

Sedangkan link seperti contoh dibawah ini tidak akan berguna, sebab bersifat redirect :

<br />Dengan memadukan faktor internal dan eksternal diatas, maka proses SEO bisa dipastikan akan berjalan dengan baik. Namun kesabaran Anda tetap dibutuhkan sebab dalam dunia SEO tidak ada proses instan, semuanya memerlukan waktu dan kerja keras. Kita hanya bisa membuat perkiraan mengenai cara kerja search engine secara teknis, sedangkan secara pasti hanya Google atau AllTheWeb yang tahu. Mereka tidak akan membocorkan rahasia dapur kepada publik.

You create one reference page that has a list of all the affiliate URLs your web site will be linking to. Then you assign ID’s to each URL. That’s it for the reference page. Below are two things to watch for.</div> <h2>Call Now To Place Your Order</h2> <p>Some advertiser like to give their customers the option to place orders by phone. They usually make their customers aware of it with a large graphic at the top of the site. Unfortunately some affiliates don’t have a system in place to track where the traffic originated from. So you could be sending traffic to an advertisers and never see the commission from the sale. </p> <p>Many jewelry web sites have a system to track where the affiliate link came from when people order by phone after going to the web site. Double check with advertisers that have order by phone options to see if they have similar tracking methods.</p> <h2>Bait and Switch</h2> <p>Some very large companies (I’m not going to name names) use a tactic that many affiliate marketers would consider bait and switch. </p> <p>Here’s how it works. The affiliate sends traffic to the advertisers web site only to have that traffic leave to another site owned by the same advertiser. The advertiser will have one main web site and then a few smaller web sites with affiliate programs. At the top of the advertisers smaller sites are a large graphic with a link to shop at the main web site. Say good-bye to your commission.</p> <p>When deciding what affiliate programs to join, watch out for these two issues that could seriously hurt your commissions.</p></div>

In my opinion - a stunt is something new and out of the ordinary that catches peoples attention, and when it comes to marketing, if done correctly a stunt can generate a lot of positive attention. </p> <p>Contests can be used to attract people to your website, to build your email list and even to build links. Online contests can be a very effective tool for marketers with any budget.</p> <p>Before running your own contest, one thing you should be aware of is that online contest have mixed reputations in the minds of consumers. Many online surfers have been enticed to click on links offering them a “free iPods” or a “free trip” only to be rewarded with an inbox full of spam. Keep this is mind, you may have to earn peoples trust before they decide to enter your contest.</p> <p><strong>Build Links With a Link Building Contest</strong></p> <p>We all know that quality content and quality inbound links are the key to Google’s heart. You might already have great content, but anyone who has tried their hand at link building knows it can be tedious at best. Luke mentioned in his <a href="http://www.virtualmarketingblog.com/index.php/20080605/three-things-ive-learned-over-the-past-2-months/" target="_blank">post</a> last week that he has had some success in generating links by networking with influential bloggers and using social media. This is a $500 prize, and I’m sure the links generated by this contest will be worth a lot more than that.</p> <p>TWIP also has a bi-weekly photo contest where they give away photography related prizes like books and software to the winning photographer. Their <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/712132@N20/" target="_blank">Flickr Photo Challenge Group</a> now has over 2000 members.</p> <p><strong>Turn A Product Launch Into a Contest</strong></p> <p>Firefox made an event out of it’s <a href="http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord" target="_blank">Firefox 3 release</a> by inviting the entire web community to make/break the world record for most software downloads in a single day. Not only did this “stunt” generate 8 million downloads in 24 hours, but it generated a lot of excitement and created a lot of free press for the second most popular web browser. One week later, Guinness is still reviewing the record breaking attempt, and Firefox 3 has now been downloaded 19 million times. If and when Guinness confirms the world record, Firefox will get more free press, more downloads, and as a result more profit. </p> <p><strong>Don’t Forget To Promote Your Contest</strong></p> <p>Once you have decided to have a contest, you will need to get the word out. A good place to start is by posting comments on popular forums in your niche (try not to SPAM) and contact <a href="http://www.bloggingmix.com/2008/01/11/submit-your-blog-contest-for-extra-publicity/" target="_blank">contest blogs</a>. </p> <p><strong>Legal Note</strong></p> <p>Before running a contest you may want to check with your lawyer, there are certain restrictions when it comes to running contests. <div id='summary2673404441148487776'><p>Kali ini saya akan memberikan sedikit tips bagi anda <strong><a href="http://www.belajarbisnisinternetmarketing.com/" target="_blank" title="Asian Brain">penggiat internet</a></strong> ketika berkecimpung dalam dunia <strong><a href="http://http/www.anne-ahira.belajarbisnisinternetmarketing.com/2007/12/25/mengais-recehan-dollar-dari-ptc/" target="_blank" title="Mengais Recehan Dollar dari PTC">PTC</a></strong> mengenai penghematan bandwith (bagi yang memilih paket koneksi quota (besarnya data)). Apabila bagi anda berlangganan koneksi internet unlimited tentu hal ini tidak jadi masalah. Apabila ada cara untuk berhemat, mengapa tidak dicoba bukan?</p> <p>Jangan sampai bagi anda yang <s>gila</s> senang mengklik iklan sebanyak mungkin untuk mendapatkan <s>penghasilan</s> dollar besar, malah terlalu rugi karena begitu banyaknya biaya yang harus dikeluarkan untuk bayar koneksi internet anda.</p> <p>Nah, berikut tips-tips yang saya terapkan di dalam program PTC yang saya ikuti.</p> <ul type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style=""><strong>Pakailah browser yang telah mendukung multi tab browsing</strong> (IE6/7, Firefox 2, Opera 9). Hal ini akan membantu anda agar tidak terlalu banyak bowser tab di dalam taskbar. Selain itu juga akan mengurangi beban prosesor. Apabila anda hanya mengikuti satu atau dua program PTC tentu hal ini tidak akan menjadi masalah. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style=""><strong>Matikan settingan image di dalam browser option (IE) atau preference (Firefox/Opera).</strong> Tentu hal ini akan sangat mengurangi beban bandwith mengingat besarnya ukuran image yang jauh lebih besar daripada text. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="">Setelah anda mengaplikasikan hal tersebut di atas, sekarang ketika mengklik iklan, maka biasanya akan muncul dua frame, yang kecil (bag. atas) yang ada countdown timer dan yang satu (bag. bawah) yang menampilkan iklan website. Ini dia triknya, ketika frame di atas sesaat setelah muncul maka tekanlah tombol <strong>Esc</strong> atau klik <strong>button stop</strong> untuk menghentikan frame dibawah loading. Setelah itu countdown timer akan bekerja. Namun apabila timer tidak berjalan maka anda terlalu cepat untuk menekan tombol stop. Ulangi lagi sampai anda mengetahui timing yang tepat. The arm has 3 joints for the use of strength: the wrist, the elbow and the shoulder. The hand moves at the wrist like the dragon playing with water and the tiger washing its claws, the shoulder should slope down and the elbows held close to the body. Inside the body should be tense like iron, but the outside should relax and be soft like wool. The body should move freely like a wheel and the abdomen should be like a steel wall. In front lift ihe bladder and the hypogastrium, and hold out the chest. Behind, the buttocks should sink, the waist muscle should be strained and the coccyx should point straight down. For those intent on becoming professional fighters or trainers the precepts and ethics involved must become an integral part of their daily lives. These traditions are devout but independent of any specific religion and so they are accessible to all. The precise details of the ceremonies differ according to the traditions of the Muay Thai training camp or teacher involved. In whatever form, these ceremonies are very powerful and moving. They are designed to make a permanent impression on the minds of participants, helping to stiffen their resolve.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="waikru"></a>Wai Kru (respect to teachers) </h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">Thais always hold their teachers to very high esteem, no matter what discipline they have embarked on. Parents are believed to be everyone’s original teachers and a special bond is believed to exist between those who study under the same teacher, which is regarded as being parallel to kinship. Wai Kru is an ancient Thai custom. It is a demonstration of respect and gratitude. There are a number of forms of the Wai Kru ceremony in Muay <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Thai.</st1:place></st1:country-region><o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="initiation"></a>Initiation as a trainee fighter</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">A boxer’s Muay Thai training and his relationship with his trainer are highly ritualised. When students seek knowledge from their teacher they first offer symbols of respect such as candles, incense and flowers. During the ritual Muay Thai fighters raise their hands in a Wai (as you would in the West to pray). Students pledge in front of their teacher that they will be diligent, hardworking and will respect and obey their teacher. The teacher officially accepts the student and promises to instruct them to the best of his abilities.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="oath"></a>A Muay Thai boxers oath</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><em><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">I will ensure that I am clean, strong and behave with honesty and integrity.</span></em><i><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);"><br /><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">I will not bully those weaker than myself. </span></em><br /><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">I will undertake good deeds to the benefit of others and be loyal to the nation</span></em><br /><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">I will avoid causing trouble of any kind.</span></em><br /><em><span style="font-family: Arial;">We will be united and help one another whenever possible.</span></em></span></i><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);"><o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="homage"></a>Homage Paying Ceremony</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">This ceremony is held annually throughout <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Thailand</st1:place></st1:country-region> in schools, universities and other places of learning. Teachers and students gather together inviting past teachers to attend. The ceremony involves all the usual symbols of honour and respect. For Muay Thai the ceremony, which requires trainee fighters to show their respect and gratitude for their trainers is usually held on Muay Thai day (17th March). <o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="fighter_name"></a>Fighters get a new name</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">When a Muay Thai boxer is considered ready for the ring, he is given a new name, usually with the name of his Muay Thai training camp as his surname.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="approaching_ring"></a>Approaching the ring</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">Thai people traditionally believe that unseen spirits inhabit everywhere. For this reason it is necessary to perform special rites before entering a Muay Thai boxing ring asking the spirits permission to do so, propitiating them and destroying any evil that may be lurking their. The ritual is thought to protect the fighter and lead him to victory. During this ritual a fighter will determine through which nostril the breath is flowing more freely. He will take his first step (avoiding the bottom stair) with the foot of that side, for good luck.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="ram_muay"></a>The Ram Muay ritual dance</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">The special relationship between a Muay Thai boxer and his trainer are gracefully expressed during the Ram Muay (a Muay Thai boxing dance) that precedes every Muay Thai match. This tradition goes back to ancient times and is a further demonstration of the fighter’s respect and gratitude. Official Muay Thai regulations specify that both fighters must perform the Ram Muay before every bout. The Ram Muay is an aesthetic, dance-like ritual, which usually lasts about five minutes and is done through a series of gestures and movements performed in rhythm to ringside musical accompaniment. The Ram Muay developed differently in various regions under different teachers. Two fighters performing identical Ram Muay rituals would know they studied under the same teacher or came from the same school, and so would not fight together. There are no rigid rules regarding the performance of the Ram Muay. You should stick to your teacher’s guidelines. taken from the <em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ramakien</span></em> ( a Thai epic closely based on the Hindu <em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ramayana</span></em>). Wearing the traditional <em><span style="font-family: Arial;">Mongkon </span></em>haedbands created from written monk's prayers that are wrapped in silk thread, the boxer move gracefully in the center of the ring, bowing in all directions. The dance is a mark of respect for the boxer's trainer and parents. As Niamh explains, "It also serves to calm a fighter so she can take possession of the ring and feel safe there." Supposedly in the past you could tell which gym a fighter came from on the basis of the style of the dance. Nowadays this is no longer true.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="contest_begins"></a>The Muay Thai contest begins</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">At the end of the Ram Muay, Muay Thai fighters return to their own corners. They go to the centre of the ring to be briefed by the referee regarding the rules and then return to their own corners for removal of the head circlet (mongkon). On completion of this ritual the Muay Thai contest can begin.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="muay_thai_music"></a>Muay Thai fight music</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">The <em><span style="font-family: Arial;">sarama</span></em> or musical accompaniment to Muay Thai matches is a sound recognised as a symbol of deference and respect. This rhythmic music accompanies the Ram Muay as well as the contest itself. The music is performed by four musicians each playing either one of two kinds of oboe, a pair of Thai drums or symbols. The tempo of the music varies. During the Ram Muay it is slow and stately to match the mood of the smooth and flowing ritual. When the fight commences the tempo is increased. At moments of excitement during a match it becomes frenetic. The music increases the atmosphere of the event and urges fighters to try even harder.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="amulets"></a>Muay Thai amulets</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">Amulets are sacred and highly respected items believed to bestow blessings and protection. All Muay Thai fighters must use the <em><span style="font-family: Arial;">mongkon</span></em>, a head circlet, which is worn until completion of the Ram Muay ritual dance, and the <em><span style="font-family: Arial;">prajed</span></em>, a woven armband. <div id='summary2900091942592316484'><h3><a name="thai_food"></a>Ordinary Thai food</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">Most Muay Thai boxers in <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Thailand</st1:place></st1:country-region> do not need to modify their diet, as ordinary Thai food is not only delicious but extremely healthy. <strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Thai people eat large amounts of white rice with almost every meal. Added to this are small portions from a selection of dishes served family style.</span></strong> Most Thai food is prepared using fresh ingredients and is highly nutritious. Meals are carefully balanced to contain small amounts of fat and protein along with plenty of fresh herbs and vegetables. Between meals Thais will snack copiously on the abundance of tasty fruits available in <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Thailand</st1:place></st1:country-region>. <o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="weight_divisions"></a>Weight divisions in Muay Thai</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">Since the introduction of weight divisions body weight has naturally become of prime importance to all competing Muay Thai boxers. <strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">To reduce body weight one must control food intake and eating should be planned in terms of proper food content and proper meal times.</span></strong> If a person’s energy intake (i.e. how much they eat) exceeds their body’s energy requirements then weight gain will result. If a persons energy intake falls short of their body’s requirements then weight loss will follow. If you wish to reduce body fat and despite training hard you are still not losing weight, then you must eat less. It is as simple as that.<br />Highly processed foods such as <strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">ready-made packet meals and burgers have very high energy concentrations</span></strong> compared to almost any other types of food. They often contain extremely high levels of fat and salt, and tend to be poor value nutritionally. <strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">If you follow a diet made up exclusively of these kinds of foods your health will suffer</span></strong> and you are likely to gain weight. A diet that includes very few processed and pre-packaged foods is healthier and is likely to encourage weight loss. Prepare food at home every day using fresh ingredients and you will probably find yourself following a healthy diet without the need to become a nutrition expert.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="how_to_eat"></a>How to eat if you are training in Muay Thai</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">When you first begin training in Muay Thai boxing don’t worry too much about the amount of food you are eating. Give your body a chance to get used to the new training schedule. Your appetite will find its own rhythm. Try not to eat within the few hours before training. Intensive training on a full stomach will make you unwell.<br /><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">You must drink enough fluids to fulfil your body’s needs and never allow yourself to become dehydrated.</span></strong> Sugary soft drinks can be high in calories and offer no nutrition; you are better off drinking plain water. You will sweat a lot during training (especially in <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Thailand</st1:place></st1:country-region>’s humid climate) and this fluid loss needs to be replaced. But drinking excessive amounts of water is also not helpful to your body and will certainly not help with your training. During training sessions try to take only small sips. During the rest of the day listen to your body, it will tell you when it is thirsty. You should drink one or two glasses of water following each meal to aid digestion. Rehydration drinks containing a mix of salts and sugar are a good idea if you are worried about the amount you are sweating or you have just begun training in <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Thailand</st1:place></st1:country-region>’s hot climate. These drinks should be limited to one per training session.<br /><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">If you are losing weight you must be especially observant of your own body and look carefully for any signs of stress.</span></strong> Weight loss should not exceed one pound (0.5 kg) a week. Anything faster (unless you are seriously overweight, in which case consider controlling your weight before embarking on a very intensive training regime) will have a damaging effect on your body, the evidence of which may not present itself until much later in your life. Remember, every person has a natural body weight that is dictated by their individual traits. <o:p></o:p></span></p> <h3><a name="youngsters"></a>Youngsters should not modify their diet</h3> <p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 48, 3);">In the case of Muay Thai boxers in their early or middle teens attempts to reduce body weight cannot be recommended (unless you are specifically directed to do so by a qualified physician with special knowledge of children’s weight problems). <strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Diet modifications in youngsters can have grave health implications.</span></strong><o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Source : <span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial;">horizonmuaythai.com</span></p></div>
